Our Beginnings...

October 13th of 2018 Logan Ave Galeria De Arte opened its doors and became a regular stop for the monthly Barrio Art Crawl. Prior to the Covid shutdown, the entire arts district was packed with artists and fans of Chicano art. The arrival of Covid in 2019 changed all businesses and we changed along with it. The art gallery closed for construction and about one year later on July 10th of 2021 we re-opened as both Neveria Los Mochis and Logan Ave Galeria; Southern Californias only ice cream shop and art gallery in the heart of the Barrio Logan arts district. After 4 plus years of ice cream and art we are due for a refresh. The menu now includes gourmet shave ice (Raspados) covered in house made syrups and toppings. We serve the best ice cream in the city, still supplied by Niederfranks Ice Cream. And... we are still an art gallery, featuring local artists inspired by nearby Chicano Park. Indoor seating and ambient lighting are just a few of the upgrades we have made to make Raspados Shave Ice a destination to visit.
